# Welcome to Nottingham

Thanks for trying Nottingham. I hope you find it to be the perfect app for quickly jotting down whatever's on your mind. If you have any trouble with the app - or suggestions on how to make it better - feel free to get in touch.

## Getting Started

Nottingham was designed to be a simple way to jot down your notes and quickly find them later. Everything in the app can be controlled with just a keyboard - no mouse required.

To create a new note, begin typing in the search box at the top of this window. As you type, Nottingham will automatically search for matching notes. At any time, you can press "return" to create a new note. Or you can arrow down through the list of search results. When you're done viewing or editing a note, just press "escape" to jump back to the search bar.
